Anatolia Stony Stratford
Anatolia is the westernmost area of Asia which makes up the majority of modern day Turkey. The Anatolian peninsula, also called Asia Minor, is bounded by the Black Sea to the north, the Mediterranean Sea to the south, the Aegean Sea to the west, and the Sea of Marmara to the northwest.
Anatolia refers to The English-language name Anatolia itself derives from the Greek (anatolḗ) meaning “the East” or more literally “sunrise”.
